Healthy snacks that won’t tip that calorie count over the edge while keeping you full!

We have created a list for you with 10 snacks containing less than 100 calories.

1) Popcorn:

30 calories per cup

Your best bet is  air-popped popcorn, you can use a microwave or an oven, avoid using oil or butter. This snack will taste delicious and will surely keep you full!

 

2) Skinless Roasted Chicken Drumstick:

Nothing tastes better than roasted chicken. Just remove the skin and add some lemon and herbs. It’ll give you that perfect juicy meat taste and of course the needed energy!

3) ½ Medium Baked Potato

90 calories

Who doesn’t love Potatoes? Some people say it is the world’s most sold plant. Other than that, the potato’s fiber, potassium, vitamin C and vitamin B-6 content, coupled with its lack of cholesterol, all support heart health. You can add some paprika and olives and enjoy your 1/2 baked potato!

4) 1/2 Cup of Oatmeal

83 calories

When the afternoon hunger rolls around, toss some oats into the microwave. Adding some skimmed milk. Finish with a sprinkle of cinnamon, which helps keep blood-sugar levels stable. With a dose of fiber and protein, the warm snack is sure to satisfy and hold your hunger! It also tastes great.

5) large Egg: 

70-80- calories

Eggs are a very good source of inexpensive, high quality protein. Eggs are full of selenium, vitamin D, B6, B12 and minerals such as zinc, iron and copper. What more could you need? Try to add little oil instead of butter to your Egg.
