Marwa is a 10-year-old girl from Aswan. She’s in fifth grade and you will often see her at Awsan’s train station selling paper tissues.
She wanted to join the charity marathon for the Aswan pediatric heart center, but couldn’t pay the LE 200 fees, neither did she have a proper sports’ outfit or jogging shoes.
The TriFactory team allowed her to join and she ran barefoot, with her clothes on. To everybody’s surprise, she won first place in the children’s marathon.
Many people are interested to help her, but they are looking for a sports club in Aswan or in Cairo to discover and develop her talent.
